Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from mouse ascites by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as confirmed by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a DNA-binding protein with high specificity for scaffold or matrix attachment region (S/MAR) DNA elements. It is involved in attaching chromatin loops to the nuclear matrix and may serve as a molecular base for assembling a transcriptosome complex near actively transcribed genes. The protein participates in heat shock protein 27 transcription regulation, acts as an estrogen receptor co-repressor, and is associated with breast tumorigenesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
