Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene belongs to a subfamily of calcium-binding proteins similar to calmodulin. Like calmodulin, these proteins can stimulate calmodulin-dependent kinase II and the protein phosphatase calcineurin. Calcium-binding proteins are key components of calcium-mediated cellular signal transduction. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
