Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

CD45RA is an isoform of the CD45 complex with restricted expression among different lymphoid cell subtypes.
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes.
It regulates Src-family kinases and plays a role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling.
CD45 isoforms differ in extracellular domains due to alternative splicing but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions.
Expression depends on cell type and physiological state.
CD45 is involved in integrin-mediated signaling and apoptosis regulation.
It is expressed on hematopoietic lineage cells except mature red cells and absent in other differentiated tissues.
Dysfunction of CD45 is associated with severe combined immunodeficiency and Hepatitis C.
