Target Information
SLPI는 상피 조직을 세린 프로테아제 공격으로부터 보호하는 분비성 억제 단백질입니다. 정액, 자궁경부 점액, 기관지 분비물 등 다양한 분비물에서 발견되며, trypsin, leukocyte elastase, cathepsin G에 결합합니다. SLPI의 억제 효과는 내인성 단백질 분해 효소로부터 상피 표면을 보호하여 면역 반응에 기여하며, 광범위한 항균 활성을 가진 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
