For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in MAPK cascades that regulate cell growth and differentiation.
Activated by various growth factors, cytokines, and membrane depolarization, MEK1 phosphorylation at serine 218 and 222 by Raf1 triggers downstream signaling related to stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation.
Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
