Target Information
IL6ST(gp130/CD130)는 다양한 사이토카인의 신호 전달에 관여하는 공통 수용체 구성요소입니다. IL6, CNTF, LIF, OSM 등의 사이토카인과 결합하여 활성화되며, Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus의 vIL6 단백질은 IL6R 없이도 gp130을 직접 활성화할 수 있습니다. 마우스 knockout 연구에서 근세포 사멸 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났습니다. 또한, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 서로 다른 아이소폼을 생성합니다.
