Target Information
Signal-induced proliferation associated-like protein 2 (SIPA1L2) is a member of the SIPA1 family of RapGAPs.
Although little is known about SIPA1L2, deregulation of SIPA proteins has been linked to myeloproliferative stem cell disorders in mice and increased metastases in human cancers.
SIPA1L1 has been associated with embryo development and cell proliferation, suggesting that SIPA1L2 may play similar roles, potentially including oncogenesis.
