This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
CTLA4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4) is a CD28-family receptor expressed mainly on CD4+ T cells. It binds the same ligands as CD28 (CD80 and CD86 on B cells and dendritic cells) but with higher affinity. Unlike CD28, which enhances T cell activation, CTLA4 inhibits T cell function. Intracellular CTLA4 is also found in regulatory T cells and contributes to their suppressive function.
