This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Human I-TAC/CXCL11.

Target Information

Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant (I-TAC), belonging to the CXC chemokine family, is expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas, liver, thymus, spleen, lung, small intestine, placenta, and prostate.
Its molecular weight is 8–11 kD and is also known as CXCL-11 and IP-9.
This cytokine regulates calcium release and induces a chemotactic response in activated T-cells, acting as a dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3.
The gene encoding this protein contains 4 exons and at least three polyadenylation signals, which may reflect cell-specific regulation of expression.
IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of transcription of this gene, which is upregulated in patients with AIDS, dementia, and multiple sclerosis.
