ZNF202 (Zinc finger protein 202) is a transcriptional repressor regulating genes involved in vascular endothelium, lipid metabolism, and energy homeostasis.
Its targets include structural components of lipoprotein particles (apolipoproteins AIV, CIII, and E), lipid-processing enzymes (lipoprotein lipase, lecithin cholesteryl ester transferase), lipid transporters (ABCA1, ABCG1), and other genes related to energy metabolism and vascular disease.
