For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PCCA is a key enzyme in the catabolic pathway of odd-chain fatty acids, isoleucine, threonine, methionine, and valine.
It likely forms a dodecamer composed of six biotin-containing alpha subunits and six beta subunits, located in the mitochondrial matrix.
Defects in PCCA cause propionic acidemia type I (PA-1), a life-threatening disorder characterized by:

• Episodic vomiting, lethargy, and ketosis
• Neutropenia and periodic thrombocytopenia
• Hypogammaglobulinemia and developmental retardation
• Intolerance to protein
