Target Information
BATF는 핵 내 기본 leucine zipper 단백질로, AP-1/ATF 전사 인자 초가족에 속합니다. 이 단백질의 leucine zipper는 Jun 계열 단백질과의 이합체 형성을 매개하며, AP-1/ATF 전사 활성의 음성 조절자로 작용하여 Ras 및 Fos에 의한 세포 변형을 억제합니다. 또한 BATF는 IL-17을 생산하는 T helper (TH17) 세포의 분화에 필수적이며, T 세포와 B 세포 모두에서 class-switch 재조합의 적절한 조절에 필요합니다.
