Target Information
MMP3 (stromelysin-1)은 peptidase M10A 서브패밀리에 속하며, pro-protein 형태로 분비된 후 세포외 단백질분해 효소에 의해 활성화됩니다.
이 효소는 아연 및 칼슘 이온에 결합하며, metallo-endopeptidase 활성을 가집니다. 활성형 효소는 콜라겐, 젤라틴, 피브로넥틴, 라미닌을 분해합니다.
MMP3는 상처 치유 및 조직 재형성과 같은 정상 세포 과정에 관여하며, 유전자 변이는 관상동맥 심장질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
