Target Information
IDO1는 헴을 포함하는 세포내 효소로, 트립토판, 세로토닌, 멜라토닌 등 여러 조절 분자의 인돌 고리를 산화적으로 절단합니다. 이를 통해 생물학적으로 활성화된 대사산물인 키뉴레닌을 생성합니다.
IDO1은 다양한 인체 조직과 대식세포, 수지상세포(DC)에 널리 발현되며, 염증 시 인터페론(IFN)에 의해 유도됩니다. IFN-감마의 생성과 IDO1의 유도는 중요한 항미생물 기전으로 작용합니다.
트립토판의 분해 및 고갈은 바이러스, 박테리아, 기생충의 성장을 억제하며, 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식 및 종양 발생 시 면역 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
