Target Information
p19는 INK4 계열의 사이클린 의존성 키나아제 억제제 중 하나로, CDK4 또는 CDK6과 안정적인 복합체를 형성하여 CDK 키나아제의 활성화를 억제합니다. 이 단백질은 세포 성장 조절자로서 세포 주기 G1 단계 진행을 제어합니다. 해당 유전자의 전사체는 세포 주기 의존적으로 발현량이 변하며, G1 중기에서 가장 낮고 S기 동안 최대치를 보입니다. 또한, p19는 신경세포 증식 억제 및 정자 형성과 관련된 세포 주기 음성 조절에 관여합니다.
