Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is esophageal or breast carcinoma tissue.
Target Information
Facilitative glucose transporter.
This isoform may be responsible for constitutive or basal glucose uptake.
It has a very broad substrate specificity and can transport a wide range of aldoses, including both pentoses and hexoses.
