Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein containing multiple ankyrin domains and two IQ calmodulin-binding domains. The encoded protein may function in renal tubular development and left-right axis determination. It interacts with nephrocystin, linking primary cilia function and left-right axis determination. Mutations in this gene are associated with nephronophthisis type 2. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
