Target Information
핵 라민(nuclear lamins)은 핵막의 핵질 쪽에 위치한 중간 필라멘트(intermediate filament) 네트워크를 형성합니다.
주요 아형으로 A형 라민과 B형 라민이 있으며,
- A형 라민: 하나의 유전자로부터 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 생성되는 lamin A, lamin C, lamin Adel 10을 포함
- B형 라민: 서로 다른 두 유전자로부터 생성되는 lamin B1, lamin B2를 포함
A형 라민의 돌연변이는 Emery-Dreifuss 근이영양증, 확장성 심근병증, Dunnigan형 가족성 부분지방이상증 등 다양한 희귀 유전 질환을 유발할 수 있음이 보고되었습니다.
또한 A형 라민은 세포 분화와 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 염색질과의 상호작용을 통해 유전자 발현 조절에도 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
