Target Information
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 MAP kinase 계열에 속하는 이중 특이성 단백질 키나아제로, MAPK8/JNK1 및 MAPK9/JNK2를 활성화합니다. 이 키나아제는 MAP3K1/MEKK1, MAP3K2/MEKK2, MAP3K3/MEKK5, MAP4K2/GCK 등에 의해 인산화 및 활성화되며, 염증성 사이토카인 및 환경적 스트레스에 대한 세포 반응의 신호 전달에 관여합니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변형이 존재하나, 하나의 변형만이 명확히 정의되어 있습니다.
