Target Information
Leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal proteins (LRRTMs)는 신경계에서 차등적으로 발현되며, 시냅스 전 및 시냅스 후 글루타메르기성 분화에 관여합니다. LRRTM1과 LRRTM2는 특히 시냅스 전 분화를 유도하는 데 가장 강력한 역할을 합니다.
LRRTM 단백질은 10개의 세포외 leucine-rich repeat와 짧은 세포내 꼬리를 가진 type I 막 단백질로, 발달 단계에 따라 독특한 발현 패턴을 보입니다.
LRRTM2는 PSD-95와 상호작용하며 AMPA 수용체의 세포 표면 발현을 조절합니다. 또한 Neurexin 1-alpha 및 -beta와 결합하여 흥분성 시냅스 발달의 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
