Target Information
The Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 8 (DOCK8) belongs to the DOCK180 family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors. DOCK8 plays an essential role in humoral immune responses and is crucial for proper B cell immunological synapse formation. Mutations in this gene are associated with the autosomal recessive form of hyper-IgE syndrome.
