Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SPG7 encodes a mitochondrial metalloprotease belonging to the AAA protein family, which includes an ATPase domain involved in cellular processes such as membrane trafficking, intracellular motility, organelle biogenesis, protein folding, and proteolysis.
Mutations in SPG7 cause autosomal recessive spastic paraplegia 7. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
