Lyn proto-oncogene (Lcl/Yes related novel protein tyrosine kinase)는 인간 염색체 8번에 위치한 Lyn 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, Src family kinase에 속하는 비수용체성 티로신 키나아제입니다.
주로 조혈세포(lymphoid 및 myeloid 세포)에서 발현되며, T 림프구에서는 제외됩니다.
Lyn은 B 세포 수용체 신호전달, 비만세포 신호전달, 그리고 Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) 조절 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
