Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGFBP-L1 is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IGFBP-7 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of IGFs and can either inhibit or stimulate the growth-promoting effects of IGFs in cell culture. They modify the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors and may act as putative tumor suppressor proteins.
