Target Information
TWEAK은 TNF family의 구성원으로 처음에는 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 약하게 유도하는 인자로 보고되었습니다. 이후 TWEAK의 수용체(TweakR)가 HUVEC cell cDNA library에서 발현 클로닝을 통해 분리되었습니다. TweakR은 TNF receptor superfamily에 속하는 작은 단백질로, TRAF1, 2, 3과 결합하여 증식 신호를 유도할 수 있습니다. 또한 TweakR mRNA는 대동맥과 간의 조직 재생 과정에서 상향 조절되며, 혈관세포 이동 및 혈관신생(angiogenesis)에 관여할 수 있습니다.
