Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve approximately 1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated by intracellular signaling pathways. In humans, at least 12 PKC isoforms exist, differing in structure, tissue distribution, localization, and substrate specificity.
Conventional PKC isoforms (α, βI, βII, γ) are Ca²⁺- and phospholipid-dependent. PKC family members phosphorylate diverse protein targets and participate in various signaling pathways. They also act as receptors for phorbol esters, known tumor promoters. Each PKC isoform has unique expression and cellular roles.
