Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Ribosomes are organelles that catalyze protein synthesis and consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. These subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. The RPL30 gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit and belongs to the L30E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm and co-transcribed with the U72 small nucleolar RNA gene located in its fourth intron. Multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene are dispersed throughout the genome.
