Target Information
KCNJ12는 인산지질인 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate에 의해 활성화되는 inward rectifying potassium channel로, 전기적으로 흥분성 세포의 안정막 전위를 조절하는 데 관여합니다. 이 채널은 뉴런 및 근육 조직의 활동전위 파형과 흥분성을 조절하는 역할을 합니다. Inward rectifier potassium channel은 세포 내부로의 칼륨 유입을 선호하며, 외부 칼륨 농도에 따라 전압 의존성이 조절됩니다. 이러한 inward rectification은 내부 마그네슘에 의한 outward 전류 차단으로 인해 발생합니다.
