• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min)

Target Information

SLC7A11 (also known as xCT) is a member of a heteromeric, sodium-independent anionic amino acid transport system. It is highly specific for cysteine and glutamate. SLC7A11 mediates Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus fusion and cell entry. Increased expression in primary gliomas is associated with neuronal cell death.
