For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure composed of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits—two rings of seven alpha subunits and two rings of seven beta subunits. Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway.
The immunoproteasome plays a key role in processing class I MHC peptides. The PSMB7 gene encodes a beta subunit of the 20S proteasome core, part of the proteasome B-type (T1B) family. Expression is downregulated by gamma interferon, and proteolytic processing is required for maturation. This subunit is absent in the immunoproteasome, where it is replaced by catalytic subunit 2i (proteasome beta 10 subunit).
