For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MPP5 (Membrane Protein, Palmitoylated 5) plays a critical role in neurogenesis and hematopoiesis. It is essential for establishing and maintaining cell polarity in epithelial cells and neurons, functioning within the Par-3 complex to maintain tight junctions.
Mutations in MPP5 are linked to severe neurological impairments such as global developmental delay (GDD) and behavioral changes. In animal models, MPP5 is involved in the early differentiation of multipotent progenitors and supports long-term lineage-specific development in myeloid and lymphoid cells. Disruption of MPP5 function leads to significant developmental and cellular abnormalities.
