Product Specific Information
- IHC (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Antigen Retrieval: For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool to room temperature for 20 minutes.

Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are produced by cells in response to stress.
HSPB1 (also known as HSP27) is a small heat shock protein acting as a molecular chaperone, maintaining denatured proteins in a folding-competent state. It contributes to stress resistance and actin organization.
HSP27 regulates biological processes such as phosphorylation and axonal transport of neurofilament proteins.
Mutations in HSPB1 can lead to Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 2F and distal hereditary motor neuronopathy type 2B.
