Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cytokeratin 19 (CK19) is part of the intermediate filament protein family, exhibiting biochemical diversity across human epithelial tissues with at least 20 distinct polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight from 40–68 kDa and pI 4.9–7.8. Their expression patterns are characteristic of epithelial type and differentiation stage, aiding in tumor classification and diagnosis.
CK19 is not expressed in hepatocytes, making it useful for identifying liver metastases.
