Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The ASB2 protein is a member of the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing (ASB) family. It includes ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain that couples SOCS proteins with elongin B and C complexes, potentially targeting them for degradation. This gene is induced by all-trans retinoic acid. In myeloid leukemia cells, ASB2 expression induces growth inhibition and chromatin condensation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully known.
