Target Information
OAS3는 인터페론 유도 단백질로, 2-5A synthetase 계열에 속하며 바이러스 감염 저항성, 세포 성장 조절, 분화 및 세포사멸 조절에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 주로 이합체 형태의 2’,5’-oligoadenylate를 합성하며, GTP를 대체 기질로 사용할 수 있습니다.
OAS3는 이중가닥 RNA에 결합하여 ATP를 PPP(A2’P5’A)N 올리고머로 중합시키며, 이는 RNase L을 활성화시켜 단일가닥 RNA를 절단합니다.
특히 태반의 영양막 세포에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
