• Rehydrate with 0.55 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve.
• Centrifuge to remove particulates.
• Prepare fresh working dilution daily and discard after use.
• Stable for 1 year from date of receipt.
• Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin rat serum proteins or IgG from human or mouse.
• Highly cross-adsorbed against mouse IgG.

Target Information

Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies increase versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and are further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to ensure high specificity.
