Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Essential for synapsis surveillance during meiotic prophase via the recruitment of ATR activity. Plays a key role in the male mid-pachytene checkpoint and the female meiotic prophase checkpoint. Required for efficient build-up of ATR activity on unsynapsed chromosome regions, contributing to meiotic silencing of unsynapsed chromatin (MSUC) and meiotic quality control. Also necessary for BRCA1-dependent ATR activation on sex chromosomes, essential for normal sex body formation. [UniProt]
