Target Information
PIK3CG (p110 gamma)는 class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase 계열의 단일 멤버로, class IA family와 함께 중요한 세포 내 신호전달 분자인 PIP2를 생성합니다. Class IA 효소가 receptor tyrosine kinase 경로 하류에서 작용하는 것과 달리, PIK3CG는 주로 GPCR 하류에서 신호를 전달합니다. 이 효소는 phosphoinositide의 inositol ring의 3-hydroxyl group을 인산화하며, E-cadherin 매개 세포 간 접착을 포함한 다양한 세포 외 신호 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 NK 세포의 세포독성 조절에도 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 해당 유전자는 골수성 백혈병에서 흔히 결실된 염색체 7 구간에 위치합니다.
