Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Nuclear Hormone Receptor CRISPR Library
The award-winning Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Nuclear Hormone Receptor Library targets 47 genes with up to 4 gRNAs per gene target (pooled in a single well), for a total of 188 gRNAs.
Libraries are delivered as 100 μL of ready-to-use lentiviral particles per gene target with an average titer of 1×10⁸ TU/mL (functional titer determined by antibiotic resistance).
Overview
Nuclear hormone receptors are ligand-activated transcription factors regulated by lipid-soluble ligands such as steroid hormones, thyroid hormone, vitamin D, and retinoic acid.
They control biological processes including metabolism, development, proliferation, and reproduction.
Gene targets were selected using up-to-date genome databases including NCBI RefSeq, and cross-referenced with the Gene Ontology Consortium (GO) and HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee (HGNC).

LentiArray CRISPR libraries are constructed using Thermo Fisher Scientific’s proprietary CRISPR gRNA design algorithm, which integrates the latest research and in-house experience.
Each gRNA is designed for maximal editing efficiency and specificity to knock out all known isoforms of the target gene.
Up to four high-quality gRNAs per gene ensure efficient knockout across diverse cell types.
Design and Execute Your Experiments Without Limitations
The LentiArray CRISPR system uses a two-vector design, expressing Cas9 nuclease and gRNA from separate lentiviral constructs.
This allows precise control over the timing and method of genome editing tool delivery.
The LentiArray Cas9 lentivirus expresses a human codon-optimized Cas9 nuclease with a blasticidin-resistance gene under the EF-1α (EFS) promoter.
Researchers can:
- Co-infect cells with both LentiArray gRNA and Cas9 lentiviruses
- Or use only the Cas9 lentivirus to establish a stable Cas9-expressing cell line
Enhanced Experimental Flexibility
- gRNA lentiviruses do not contain fluorescent markers, enabling use with any reporter wavelength and multiplexed experiments.
- For challenging cell lines, gRNA lentiviruses include a puromycin resistance gene for enrichment of edited populations and stronger phenotypes.
