Target Information
ArfGAP1은 406개의 아미노산으로 구성된 조절 단백질로, ARF(ADP ribosylation factor)의 GTPase 활성화를 매개하는 Arf-GAP 도메인을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 ARF1의 GTP 가수분해를 촉진하여 Golgi 유래 막과 소포에서 coat 단백질의 해리를 유도하며, 이는 막 수송 및 소포 융합 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
ArfGAP1의 활성은 phosphoinositide에 의해 촉진되고, phosphatidylcholine에 의해 억제됩니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 대부분의 조직에서 보편적으로 발현됩니다.
