- In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse GCP-2 and <5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human GCP-2 are observed.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is an inflammatory chemokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is produced concomitantly with interleukin-8 (IL8) in response to stimulation with interleukin-1 (IL1) or tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFA). This chemokine acts as a potent chemotaxin involved in neutrophil activation.
