• Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG1 κ immunoglobulin useful as an isotype control.
• Applications Reported: P3.6.2.1 antibody reported for flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: P3.6.2.8.1 antibody tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and human peripheral blood cells. Use at same concentration as experimental antibody.
• Fluorochrome Information: Alexa Fluor® 532 is excited with the Green laser (532 nm) and emits at 561 nm. Not compatible with Yellow-Green laser (561 nm). Recommended filter: 560/14 band pass. Ensure instrument compatibility.
• Excitation / Emission / Laser: 532 nm / 561 nm / Green Laser.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immune response. Composed of two heavy and two light chains, it participates in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Widely used in research applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and in therapeutic studies including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
