Target Information
Napsin 1은 주로 폐에서 발현되는 아스파르트산 프로테아제로, 신장 및 전이성 암에서도 발견됩니다. 정상 폐 및 신장 조직에서는 surfactant protein B를 처리하지만, 암 발생 시 비정상적으로 조절됩니다. 따라서 Napsin 1은 여러 암의 식별 및 원발 종양과 전이 종양의 감별에 유용한 바이오마커로 활용됩니다. Thyroid transcription factor 분석과 병행 시, 암종의 특이적 구분에 도움이 됩니다. 또한 폐포 단백증 및 신장 세뇨관 내 단백질 대사와도 관련이 있습니다.
