Target Information

TNIK (TRAF2 and NCK interacting kinase)는 N-말단의 kinase domain과 조절 기능을 수행하는 C-말단의 GCK domain을 가진 단백질입니다. TNIK는 주로 뇌, 심장, 비장에서 발현되며, RAP2의 특정 효과기로 작용하여 actin cytoskeleton을 조절합니다. TNIK는 kinase domain의 ATP 결합 포켓 내 Lys54에 의존적인 방식으로 자가 인산화되며, 세포골격 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 TNIK는 gelsolin을 인산화하여 actin 절단 기능을 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 이러한 연구 결과는 TNIK가 세포골격 조절에 관여함을 시사합니다.
