Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).


Target Information

CNOT4 is a 575 amino acid protein with E3 ubiquitin ligase activity, mainly involved in protein modification and ubiquitination. It contains:

  • A C4C4-type RING zinc finger domain
  • An RNA recognition motif
  • A bipartite nuclear localization signal

CNOT4 is part of the CCR4–NOT (CAF1) core complex, functioning as a general transcription regulator that can both positively and negatively modulate transcription of various genes.
It interacts with CNOT1 via its C-terminus and with E2 ubiquitin ligases via the C4C4 RING domain.
Reports indicate that CNOT4 is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage at consensus sites recognized by ATM and ATR.
