Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CNOT4 is a 575 amino acid protein with E3 ubiquitin ligase activity involved in protein modification and ubiquitination.
It contains:

  • A C4C4-type RING zinc finger domain
  • An RNA recognition motif
  • A bipartite nuclear localization signal

CNOT4 is a component of the CCR4-NOT (CAF1) complex, which regulates transcription both positively and negatively, controlling gene expression.
It interacts with CNOT1 via its C-terminus and with E2 ubiquitin ligases via its C4C4 RING domain.
Reports indicate that CNOT4 is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage at ATM/ATR consensus sites.
