Target Information
Interleukin-17A (IL-17A, CTLA-8)는 CD4+ T 세포에서 유래한 사이토카인으로 염증 반응을 촉진하며, 류마티스 관절염, 천식, 다발성 경화증, 건선 및 이식 거부 반응 등에서 상승된 수준을 보입니다. IL-17A는 136개의 아미노산으로 구성된 32 kDa의 이황화 결합된 호모다이머이며, IL-17A–17F로 구성된 6종의 사이토카인 패밀리의 일원입니다. IL-17A는 IL-17 수용체(IL-17R/CDw217)를 통해 신호를 전달하며, 인간 섬유아세포에서 ICAM-1 발현을 증가시키고 IL-6, IL-8, G-CSF, PGE2 분비를 유도합니다. 또한 CD34+ 조혈 전구세포의 증식과 호중구로의 성숙을 촉진합니다. Mouse, Rat, Human IL-17A 모두 Mouse 수용체를 인식할 수 있으며, NF-κB 및 MAP kinase를 조절하고 IL-6 및 COX-2 발현을 촉진하며 nitric oxide(NO) 생성을 증가시킵니다.
