Target Information
Pyrimidine 5-prime-nucleotidase (P5N), 또는 uridine 5-prime monophosphate hydrolase (UMPH)는 UMP와 CMP의 탈인산화를 촉매하여 해당 뉴클레오사이드로 전환합니다.
적혈구 내에는 두 가지 동종효소가 존재하며, type I (UMPH1)과 type II (UMPH2)로 구분됩니다. 두 효소는 인간에서 전기영동으로 분리되지 않지만 서로 다른 효소학적 특성을 가지며, 단백질 수준에서 상동성이 없습니다.
