Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
KappaB ras-1 (kappa-B-ras-1) and kappaB-ras-2 are small Ras-like GTPases that associate with Ikappa-B, an inhibitor of NF-kappa-B. Ikappa-B exists in two homologous forms: Ikappa-B-alpha and Ikappa-B-beta.
Ikappa-B-beta contains a unique 47-amino acid region within its ankyrin domain, leading to distinct intracellular localization compared to Ikappa-B-alpha.
KappaB-ras proteins preferentially bind to Ikappa-B-beta, modulating its cytoplasmic retention and degradation rate, thereby influencing NF-kappa-B signaling.
