Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
KappaB ras-1 (kappa-B-ras-1) and kappaB-ras-2 are small GTPase-like proteins that associate with Ikappa-B, an inhibitor of NF-kappa-B transcription factor.
Ikappa-B exists as alpha and beta forms; Ikappa-B-beta contains a unique 47-amino acid region within its ankyrin domain.
Inactive Ikappa-B-alpha–NF-kappa-B complexes shuttle between nucleus and cytoplasm, while Ikappa-B-beta–NF-kappa-B complexes remain cytoplasmic.
KappaB-ras proteins preferentially bind Ikappa-B-beta through the unique ankyrin insert, modulating its cellular localization and degradation rate.
